課程概述 |
本課程適合未學過華語者的學習者，也就是或學習華語時數每週未達6小時，且總時數未達100小時者選修。
For those who have never taken Chinese or those who have taken Chinese for less than 100 hrs. (6hrs/week).
本課程授課語言以中文為主，英文為輔。
This course will be conducted mainly in Chinese. English will be used only when referring to basic grammar principles and relevant key

課程目標 |
學會使用漢語拼音。
學會漢字的結構、筆順及寫法。
了解華語基本句型及語序、架構。
學會如何得體使用華語認識他人及介紹自我。
1. Learn Hanyu Pinyin.
2. Understand the writing method of Chinese characters.
3. Understand basic Chinese sentence structure and word order.
4. Capable of self-introduction and basic conversation.

課程要求 |
1. 準時上課，不要遲到早退。遲到二十分鐘，視同缺課。
Attend the class on time. The student is taken as absent if he/she is 20 minutes late for the class.
2. 課堂中請說中文。
Only “Chinese” in class.
3. 預習和複習上課內容。
Preview and review.
4. 作業不可遲交。
No longer acceptation after deadline.
5. 考試不可作弊。
No cheating in quizzes or exam.
6. 除非有特別要求，否則所有的功課和考試都必須寫中國字。
Write Chinese characters in homework and test.
7. 如果需要請假，請兩天前告知講師。（病假例外）
If students need to take a day off, please tell the instructor two days before. Except for sick leave.
8. 課堂中請勿抽菸、喝酒和吃東西。
No alcohol, No smoking and No food in class, allowed drinking.
9. 上課不能使用電子產品（手機、電腦），除非教師同意。
Electronic devices (mobile phones, computers) cannot be used in class unless the teacher agrees.
10. 上課專心聽講，勿聊天談話。
Listen attentively to the teacher in the class, no chatting in class.
11. 尊重同學的發言權和受教權。
Respect classmates’ right to speak and the right of learning. |

參考書目 |
使用的教材為《實用視聽華語一》(第一課~第六課)，盼學生能兼顧「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，使學生生活不因語言不通而有障礙，並期望學生能透過課程進一步了解華語及台灣文化。
This course uses the textbook “Practical Audio-Visual Chinese I” (~chapter 6) to help students develop proficient language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing that would enable them to communicate effectively in their daily lives. Through the course, students will further understand Taiwanese culture and language.
